OUTSHINE POUCHES

Outshine needed to update their portable yogurt pouches to stand out among other colorful competitors and came to us for a modern approach.

Outshine wants you to take them everywhere.

Outshine came to us to refresh their portable unrefrigerated smoothie pouch line to compete with a vibrant and playful shelf set among other competitors appealing to families. The final result is a refined, cleaner and bright evolution from it’s original muted and busy design. Maintaining the kaleidoscope asset and center displayed product rendering, it leaves no question for the consumer on quality and freshness.

 

PREVIOUS DESIGN Outshine's first pouch design used soft colors and their iconic kaleidoscope pattern to make them distinct from brands with whimsical characters and bold prints. They stuck to their frozen bar look to help customers identify the brand and trust the quality of the natural and healthy snacks.

PROPOSED CONCEPT A This colorful design approach boldly removed the symmetrical fruit kaleidoscope and rearranged them around a circular wreath of creamy yogurt, forming a prominent “O” to represent Outshine. Each unique flavor is now distinguished by its specific color, while the callouts have been streamlined and made more straightforward. Although this concept deviated significantly from their existing brand look, it successfully retained the essential brand components: the rich green color palette, the vibrant fruit visuals, and the prominently positioned logo at the forefront.
